Jouney’s End

Soon to be true in more ways than one. These lovely olf ferries will soon be replaced with some hideous foreign-built superferries. For now, enjoy the view.

This is the mouth of the River Test, one of the finest trout streams in the world. Here, though, the crystal clear waters of the Test mix with the murkier waters of Southampton Water. Just out of shot to the left, is Southampton Container Terminal, one of the largest of its type in the country.
