From a recent evening photoshoot at Diccot Railway Centre.
Some of you will know that due to a lack of a responsible adult to look after me, I fell down one of the loco inspection pits. Not one of these, though; the one I fell in was in toal darkness outside of the shed and I was on way way back to my camera bag to get a torch so that I could see where I was going. I was concerned that I had broken my camera lens that i had only collected from the repairers that morning but luckliy the lens filter took the brunt of the fall and the lens itself seems to be working as expected. There’s not a mark on the camera body despite a fall of around 8ft on to concrete. I, on the other hand, still have the scars, damaged ego and I’m still limping.
