It’s been a while now since I’ve updated my blog. This is due to having a couple of holidays that were almost back to back. I’ve had two glorious weeks in southern Utah and northern Arizona.

I flew via San Francisco to Salt lake City to pick up a rental and then headed south, taking in the National Parks of Canyonlands and Arches in Utah, Monument Valley, the stunning upper and lower canyons at Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona, the Grand Canyon and finishing off in Sedona, Arizona before flying home via Chicago.

I’ve then had a week resting back at the Mad House before a week’s walking through our beautiful lake District.

Photos from the trip to Utah And Arizona can be found in this gallery (opens in new window).

The bandstand at Eastbourne is one of our great English traditions is rightly popular with the visitor’s during the summer season.

My parents have gone down for a family re-union so when I was thumbing though my archives and came across this, I decided to post it whlst I think about them on the long weekend away. Such is the dire starte of public transport in this country that would took me 2 hours by car earlier this year took them 7 hours by coach – outrageous!
