Dogged determination

I’d gone out shopping in Victoria to the Roger’s Chocolates shop (compulsory!) when I came across this motorcycle and sidecar combination parked at the side of the road. Try as I could, I just could not get the dog to raise his head and show off his shades in all their glory! Coughing loudly and even talking to the dog would only achieve a bored open-eyed to look to see who was disturbing his slumber. His mate in the bottom of the sidecar never even stirred. Alas, I could not linger for their owner to return and watch to see if the dog then showed any interest. The scene reminded me of Dastardly and Muttley!

There’s an interesting-looking camera mount on the side of the sidecar; I’ve no idea what that was for or how it was used.
